Synopsis[]

A film-crew filming a zombie film turns to real horror when the stand-in for leading actress Lexi Cunningham is poisoned. Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman realizes that the victim was not the one the murderer intended, as the poison meant for Lexi, hidden inside chocolates, was consumed by the stand-in instead. Humphrey realizes that the tainted chocolates could only have been placed there before shooting started, and there were only three people on the set when the box was delivered: the director Carl Collins, the screenwriter Arnold Finch, and the runner Susie Jenkins. When there is a second death, the pieces of the puzzle start to fit together, and the team realise they have been manipulated from the start.
